Trunk Show at Common Thread Quilt Guild
I had the absolute pleasure of attending Common Thread Quilt Guild's final in-person meeting of 2025 last week. Through an interesting set of connections I was invited to present a trunk show and a new talk on my experience with needle-turn applique.
There was a slight glitch with the presentation and some of the photos weren't included on the slides, so I'm linking the presentation here for those who are interested in seeing the images. While my talking points aren't included, I have listed the quilts made during the seasons shown.
I'm also including some resources below for those wanting to try needle-turn applique! Ruth so wonderfully created kits for everyone to give needle-turn applique a try, with a goal of creating a community quilt with the finished blocks. I can't wait to see it finished, and I'm honoured that it was prepared because of my presentation.
